Who receives the money from a sale?
You do. On Bink the seller is whoever sells: the money lands on your own Stripe account and reaches your bank on the payout schedule you pick. Bink keeps no wallet and holds no balance.
What does Bink keep on a sale?
A fee on each payment, and how much depends on your plan: 5% + €0.25 on the free plan, 2.5% + €0.25 on Pro, 1.6% + €0.30 on Business. Nothing is charged on a page that has not sold anything.
Do I need a Stripe account to sell?
Yes, getting paid needs a Stripe account in your name, and connecting it is free. The product page can be built before that, but until the account is connected the buy button cannot complete a sale.
Can I sell a file or a code instead of something to ship?
Yes: a product can carry a digital delivery — a link, a code or a PDF — which is emailed to the buyer right after payment.
Can I ask the buyer something before they pay?
Yes, up to six fields at checkout: text, long text, email, phone, date, choice or yes/no. The answers come back with the order and in the email that tells you about the sale.
Do I need to open an account to sell?
Yes, the account opens at the end, with an email and a password: free, no card. Getting paid is a separate thing — the Stripe account — and you connect that afterwards, from your dashboard.
